उभिनुस्-हिड्नुस् अनि स्वस्थ रहनुस्
अहिले मानव समुदायको कामको प्रकृति फेरिँदै गएको छ । कतिपय ठाउँमा मानिसहरु लामो भन्दा लामो समयसम्म एकै ठाउँमा बसेर काम गर्छन् । यसरी काम गर्नुले विभिन्न स्वास्थ्य सम्वन्धी समस्याहरु खडा गर्दछ । यसबारेमा गरिएको एक अध्ययनमा अफिसमा काम गर्दा बारम्वार उठ्नु जरुरी छ । नियमित समयको अन्तरालमा ब्रेक लिनु, फोनमा कुरा गर्दा उठेर गर्नु अथवा उठेर गर्न मिल्नेसम्मका काम उठेर गर्न सक्यो भने यसले बसेर हुन जाने खराबीलाई रोक्न सकिन्छ ।
अष्ट्रेलियाको युनिभर्सिटी अफ क्विन्सल्याण्डका डा. जे. हेलीको एक टीमले यसबारेमा एक अनुसन्धान गरेको थियो । अनुसन्धानले लगातार कुर्सीमा बस्दा हुने खतराबाट बच्न बीचबीचमा उठ्नु जरुरी रहेको निष्कर्ष निकालेको थियो । करिव ५ हजार स्टाफमाथि गरिएको अनुसन्धानमा पाइएको थियो कि खडा रहने आदत मुटुको लागि राम्रो हो । जसले कामको समयमा ब्रेक लिने गर्छन् उनीहरुको कम्मरको आकार औसतमा ४.१ सेमि कम पाइएको थियो । तर जो मानिस लगातार बस्ने गर्छन् उनीहरुमा खराव कोलोस्ट्रलको स्तर बढी रहेको समेत पाइएको थियो । अनुसन्धानकर्ताहरुले अफिसमा धेरै समयसम्म लगातार कुर्सीमा बसिनरहने, लिफ्टको सट्टा सिँढी प्रयोग गर्ने जस्ता तरिका अपनाउन सुझाव दिएका छन् । कतै तपाई पनि लामो समयसम्म कुर्सीमा बसिरहने गर्नु भएको छ भने आजैबाट थाल्नुहोस् -बेलाबेलामा उठ्नुस्, हिँड्नुस्, उभिएर गर्न मिल्ने काम उभिएरै गर्नुस् । 'उभिनुस् र हिड्नुस' अनि आफूलाई स्वस्थ राख्नुस् ।
यस्तैगरी यदि तपाई दिनमा कम्प्यूटर वा टेलिभिजनको सामुन्ने ४ घण्टा भन्दा बढी बस्नुहुन्छ भने होसियार हुनुहोला । यसले तपाईमा मुटुसम्वन्धी रोग लाग्ने खतरा १२५ प्रतिशत बढी हुन्छ । लण्डनस्थित युनिभर्सिटी अफ कलेजका अनुसन्धानकर्ताहरुले गरेको अनुसन्धानबाट पत्ता लागेको कुरा हो यो । अनुसन्धानकर्ताहरुले लामो समय टिभी वा कम्प्यूटरमा बसेर हुने खतराको भरपाई कसरतबाट पनि हुन नसक्ने बताएका छन् । लामो समयसम्म एकै ठाउँमा बस्नाले प्राणाधार मानिएको मुटुसम्वन्धी रोगलाई नियन्त्रण गर्ने एञ्जायम लिपोप्रोटिन र लिपरेस ९० प्रतिशतसम्म कम हुन जान्छ । त्यसैले परिवर्तित अहिलेको काम गर्ने शैलीले आफ्नो स्वास्थ्यमा हानी नपुर्याओस् भनेर समय नवित्दै सावधानी अपनाउ ।
